The Arts & Crafts Center offers a variety of classes and services for people of all ages. If your passion is seasonal / holiday decorating or you have a particular skill or hobby such as scrapbooking or stained glass, then the Arts & Crafts Center is the place for you! Stencil your walls and give your home a new look! Or, decorate your home with homemade country crafts and unique knick-knacks.
    The holidays are a fun time, and the Arts & Crafts Center has some great holiday classes for both children and adults. Large tables are available for individuals or small groups -- plenty of space for you to work on your project!
Wood Shop

    Woodcrafters can use the Wood Shop inside the Arts & Crafts Center to build small pieces of furniture or to work on other special projects. Wood Shop Safety Card required. Safety classes are FREE on Saturdays at 10 am. Call for more information.

Balloon Time
    Balloon Time, part of the Arts & Crafts store, sells latex and mylar balloons for any occasion. Welcome home a new baby or a loved one returning from deployment; wish somone a speedy recovery; congratulate a recent graduate, celebrate a birthday or anniversary; or assemble a balloon bouquet of team colors for sport-themed party. But you don't need a reason to give a colorful balloon bouquet, it's a wonderful way to brighten the day of someone special!

Pick It & Paint It Ceramics
The Arts & Crafts Center is proud to offer ceramics for hand painting. All ages are welcome! Just stop by the Arts & Crafts Center to join in the fun and paint your own designs onto a variety of bisqueware ceramics, hand poured by our staff. Your creations will be finished by a glaze firing in our kilns. Prices vary from 25¢ to $25 per piece, depending on the size. Price includes a wide variety of under-glaze paint colors for you to choose from, along with instruction from our friendly staff. Most glazes are food and kitchen safe!

Seasonal Flower Arranging
Learn a new basic style depending on the seasonal flowers chosen by the instructor. Class fee includes decorative and live flowers. Additional supplies must be purchased by the student based on the project for that month. The session consists of one class that meets once for two hours. Learn the Japanese art of folding paper to create a beautiful free standing doll.

Washi Paper Covering
Students will make a tea box and wooden or ceramic egg while learning the technique of adding washi paper to make the perfect Japanese decoration. Students must purchase their own supplies which can be purchased in the Arts & Crafts Sales Store. Supplies needed: Tea box, wooden or ceramic egg & washi paper.

Ikebana

Bonsai
Learn the art of training plants and trees to live in a restricted space. The result causes plants to grow very small in size. Bonsai trees often live over 100 years and look as if they are full size when seen from far distances. This class is a year-round program.
