    The Mokuteki Community Center has something fun
and interesting for everyone in Misawa! From SAX events (Single Airman Xtreme) and Film Festivals to theatrical presentations and recitals, you're sure to find great entertainment here! Not to mention the game rooms, TV lounge, and Internet access.
    Each month the Mokuteki Community Center hosts different events ranging from X-Box® Gameathons, Chess and Pool Tournaments, to Family & Teen Talent Contests and Home Business Expos.

       In addition to all of the exciting events put on by the Mokuteki, there are loads of entertaining options at the Center, including pool tables, foosball, arcade and video games, plus a huge TV lounge with multiple large-screen televisions and reclining chairs.
    Keep an eye on the list of upcoming events at right and below for great activities at the Community Center. On the far right you'll find more upcoming events and info on our SAX Program (Single Airman Xtreme) and SUNs Program (Single Unaccompanied NCOs).

                       All persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent at all times while in the Game Room. After 8:30 pm, no one under 18 is allowed to be in the Game Room.

Toastmasters Monthly Meeting
15 January • 5:30 pm • Conference Room
 Toastmasters is an organization of people helping people with their communication and leadership skills. Toastmaster meetings allow people to practice speeches and receive effective feedback on ways to improve in a non-threatening environment.

Saturday Evening Pool Tournaments
24 January • 7 pm • Game room • FREE
Registration begins at 6:30 pm.
Open to anyone 18 & older and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers.
Role-Playing Gaming Night
3 Janurary • 4 pm • Mokuteki Ballroom • FREE
Play Dungeons and Dragons ™, World of Darkness ™, War Hammer ™, Yu-Gi-Oh! ™ and other great role-playing games. Join the action or just watch. The Community Center’s “Role-Playing Gaming Night” is the first Saturday of each month. All games are welcome. Anyone younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Family and Kids Bingo Bash!
31 January • 5 pm • Conference Room • FREE
Prizes, gift certificates, cash!  Don’t miss this great opportunity to win lots of free stuff. Registration starts at 5 pm. Be there first because only 25 families can register.

Anime Movie Club
Friday Nights • 8 pm • FREE
The Mokuteki Anime Club meets every Friday for movies, TV shows, and discussion. No registration,
just show up! Kids under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
Mokuteki Video Game League
Friday Nights • 6 pm • Game Room
Play Halo ®, Madden ®, and Gears of War ® Friday nights in the Community Center Game Room. Register at the event; call 226-4128 for more details.

The Single or Unaccompanied NCO Program meets the first Tuesday of each month in the Community Center Conference Room (upstairs). This group is open to all NCOs stationed at Misawa who are single or unaccompanied. Bring us your ideas and have your questions answered!
