Prepares a wide-range of drinks including but not limited to lattes, espressos, Americanos, and cappuccinos by selecting the proper grind of the coffee shot and following set recipes for each individual variation of drink. Sets up Cappuccino corner for operation and obtains cash bank. Stocks service bars and assists supervisor on duty as necessary. Operates a cash register, rings-up sales, accepts payment, and processes change.

Sets up salad and smoothie prep line, side service refrigerators with cold food items including meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, beverages. Makes salads, hot and cold sandwiches and wide range of smoothies using prepared ingredients. Breaks down and cleans area when meals are complete and at the end of the shift. Sets up dining room tables for service, places food and beverages on tables, and replenishes items as necessary. Takes orders from customers and answers customer’s queries on product information. Operates POS system, rings up sales, receives money and makes change.

Responsible to consolidate and secure funds and paperwork at the close of the business day and makes daily deposits as required. Posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers inquiries about items, places, transportation, or any other matters related to activities/facilities. Provide quality customer service, answers customer’s questions and assists with product selection via phone and in-store. Takes registration for skills development classes. Operates register, collects, safeguards, reconciles, and deposits monies from customers for all assigned areas. Inspects facility and equipment to ensure safe conditions and cleanliness. Issues and collects equipment and tools. Demonstrates shop techniques and ensures shop safety rules are adhered to. Prepares ceramics for firing, fires, loads/unloads, kiln, and receives/issues glazed pieces. Provides simple instructions to children and adult craft classes. Assists in merchandising and conducting inventory. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Child and Youth

Child and Youth Program Assistant - Flex

Accountable for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years. Assists in providing and leading planned activities. Helps prepare, arrange, and maintain indoor and outdoor activity areas and materials to accommodate the daily schedule. Supervises children and youth during daily schedule of indoor and outdoor activities, on field trips, outings and special events. Observes program participants for signs that may indicate illness, abuse or neglect and reports as directed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Marketing

Marketing Director - RFT

Responsibility includes planning, organizing, directing and exercising control over marketing plans and execution of such marketing plans for the 35th Force Support Squadron. Oversees the creation of all marketing media such as brochures and flyers for activities and special events. Researches, interprets, analyzes, and applies marketing and commercial sponsorship guidelines and establishes policies and procedures for both programs. Creates and recommends promotional programs to increase sales in revenue-generating activities, including advertisements for publication in newspapers, billboard displays, etc. to inform customers on programs and services. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with installation officials, public affairs, local chamber of commerce or other local representatives, corporate leaders and AFPC Services level officials to develop cooperative marketing strategies. May brief high-ranking officials on a national level while representing the squadron. Researches and determines or recommends appropriate actions or interpretation of issues that impact organization, installation, command, and agency. Works with activity managers on the design and implementation of product merchandising and services; considers ways to adapt and change programs to meet customer needs; and develops specific publicity campaigns.

Performs receiving and disbursing cashier duties. Ensures proper identification is presented before disbursement is made. Collects cash receipts, cash register tapes, checks, credit card receipts, club tokens, coupons, and other supporting documentation. Prepares and issues change from funds as required. Prepares bank deposits and ensures daily deposit in a timely manner. Prepares cash reports and notifies supervisor of any suspected irregularities. Cashes checks and accepts payment for dues and charges to accounts. Accepts and processes new membership applications.

Technology

IT Specialist - RPT

Misawa AFSVA

Serve as a field technician for the Air Force Gaming Program. Work involves the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electronic gaming machines, gaming control systems, local area network servers, workstations, digital signage, automated cashier machines (ACM), progressive controllers, gaming system peripherals and electronic video surveillance systems. Incumbent participates in cash collections, ACM money service, jackpot and hand payment validations. Reviews gaming system/slot machine data and performs proper documentation of required logs and data files. Maintain control of gaming program equipment, parts inventories, records, and locks and keys. Interpret gaming machine, system network, and peripheral equipment conditions by use of IT system diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques. Make adjustments, calibrations, and/or alignments on equipment to achieve required tolerances. Receives and ships equipment and parts for repair or disposition in accordance with program directives. Responsible for operating government and commercial passenger vehicles and trucks to transport gaming machines and related equipment to various operating locations. Position requires some travel.
