Power Hour

Points=Rewards. Teens can earn points and redeem prizes by working on homework, projects, SAT/ACT Prep and more!

Digital Arts

Learn how to create artwork through digital media including using tablets and digital photography. We will be exploring different cultures and expressing these cultures through digital media.

Healthy Living with Smart Kids

Passport to Manood and SMART Girls combine to make SMART kids! This club encourages kids to make healthy choices and support active lifestyles through eating right, fitness and understanding themselves. 

Gardening with Torch & Keystone club

Learn how to cultivate, grow and make your own garden while exploring the concepts of character, leadership, education and even a career in gardening!

Fun Fridays

Invent your own club or activity you want to do on Fridays. Bring a friend to explore the Lunney Youth Center and see what we are all about. Don’t forget that the game room will be open for video game tournaments and movies!

Meditation Mondays

Learn how to relax your mind and body through meditation. Each week we will explore a new way to relax including yoga and mindfulness.

Congressional Award

The Congressional Award is the United States Congress’ award for young Americans. It is non-partisan, voluntary, and non-competitive. The program is open to ages 14–23. Participants earn bronze, silver, and gold Congressional Award certificates and medals.

Each level involves setting goals in four program areas:

  • Volunteer Public Service
  • Physical Fitness
  • Personal Development
  • Expedition & Exploration

Join the Lunney Youth Center and the Misawa Teen Center as we celebrate and learn about Mexican Heritage. Bring all of oyour friends for a fun-filled fiesta. A taco bar, drinks and dessert will be provided. 

Parent Advisory Board

To support the continued well-being of all children/youth in the programs and become more formally involved in the CYP, you are encouraged to participate in the Parent Advisory Board (PAB). Members of the PAB provide recommendations for improving services, help plan unique events, and discuss other opportunities for parent participation. The PAB is composed of parents of children and youth enrolled in each type of CYP, base personnel, and CYP professionals. We value your ideas and view the PAB as an opportunity to continue to improve the programs and services provided.


About Us

Yoiko Child Development Center

The CDC offers full day and hourly care for children ages six weeks to five years old that have not yet started Kindergarten. We require written guidance from a physician, therapist, or other appropriate health care professionals.

Family Child Care

This program provides care for children ages two weeks to twelve years old in on-base housing. All FCC providers are licensed child care professionals. Licensed FCC providers are the only people on base who may provide care in government quarters for more than 10 hours per week on a regular basis.

Cheli School Age Care

Open to children from Kindergarten to sixth grade. Cheli SAC is open for full time care during school breaks.

Lunney Youth Center

We provide a safe, fun, and educational after school environment for children ages nine through thirteen. Annual memberships are available to for children which includes FREE access to multiple, daily Boys and Girls Clubs of America and 4–H sponsored programs and clubs. After the first visit, memberships are required for children to attend the center.

Misawa Teen Center

We provide teens a fun, safe, and interactive after school environment for youth ages thirteen through eighteen. Annual memberships are available and include FREE access to daily Boys and Girls Clubs of America and 4–H Clubs, specials events, and trips. After the first visit, memberships are required to attend the center to play video games, shoot pool, do homework, and much more.
