The Last Friday of the Month
6–8 p.m. Pool Party & Battleship Mayhem
Eat, drink, laugh and play at our monthly pool party. On the last Friday of every month we provide snacks and the chance to take out your frustrations in an all-out war on the low seas. Bring your friends and family to see who earns the bragging rights this month.

Lazy Sunday afternoons just got a whole lot better! Escape the cold this winter with a trip to the tropical Himberg Pool. Lounge poolside or take a dip in the crystal-clear waters and enjoy ice cream sundaes served all winter long!

Physical Training Reservations

Reservations are available:
6–9 a.m. / Up to three lanes

To schedule a reservation for squadrons or groups, call 226–3152 or stop by the Himberg Pool to reserve PT lanes. Physical Training reservations are available during the designated times above for up to 60 minutes per lane.

Not sure which level to enroll in? Let our swim instructor help you with a FREE skill assessment. Please note, age requirements still apply for specific levels.

Sign up now at Outdoor Recreation
If you’re looking for a fun, new fitness challenge and think you have what it takes, join the 50 Mile Swim Club. Reach your fitness goals, or just challenge your friends to a race against the calendar. Sign up and track your laps in the pool as you compete in this base-wide, yearlong race. Trophies will be awarded to the first three finishers. All of the finishers will take home congratulatory T-shirts and bragging rights. If you can swim farther than anyone else on base, hit that 50 and keep on swimming. Additional trophies will be awarded to the three
competitors who swim the farthest over the course of 2020.

The Fish Bowl

The Fish Bowl can accommodate up to 16 people and features a service counter, small refrigerator, microwave, oven, TV, DVD player and picnic tables. Rental includes use of the party room for two hours.

Rules & Policies

Age & Supervision Requirements

  • All children ages 10 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Children unable to stand in the water must be within arm’s length of an adult at all times.
  • Children ages 12 and under must pass the PACAF Deep Water Test and possess a current PACAF Deep Water Access Card to use the deep end of the pool.
  • Children ages 13 and older (and children ages 11 or 12 with a valid PACAF Deep Water Access Card) may remain at the facility unattended.

Pool Rules

  1. No diving into shallow water.
  2. Parents are responsible for watching their young children at all times.
  3. No breath-holding or prolonged underwater swimming.
  4. Do not enter the pool if there is no lifeguard on duty.
  5. Shower before entering the pool.
  6. Flotation devices are limited to USGC-approved personal flotation devices only.
  7. No personal water or pool toys allowed.
  8. Glass lens diving masks may be used only by lap swimmers and during scuba training activities.
  9. No food, drinks or glass containers allowed in the pool area.
  10. No running on the pool deck.
  11. Lap lanes are for lap swimmers only.
  12. Children who are not toilet trained must wear tight-fitting swim diapers.
  13. Individuals with obvious evidence of a cold, flu or other communicable disease including open sores, lesions and fungal skin infections are prohibited from entering the pool.
  14. Violations will result in suspension of pool use.
