Outdoor Recreation

We have expanded our hours!

Outdoor Recreation is now open Saturdays 8 a.m.–Noon

Learn to Ski & Snowboard

All Season Long

Learn the basics of skiing and snowboarding with our certified instructors at great resorts. We have multiple chances to learn all season long! Check out the dates for all the classes listed below.

Gear Fittings

If you plan on renting ski or snowboard gear this winter, please stop by the Outdoor Recreation Rental Center early to get your gear fitting. We’ll record your sizes and settings, give you a fitting card for each member of the family and take care of all the waivers at one time. Advance fittings mean faster checkout times when you do come to get gear!

Winter Equipment Servicing

The Outdoor Recreation Center offers ski and snowboard equipment waxing, edge-sharpening and base repairs as well as “while you wait” hot waxing and generally fast turnaround on most other work for any skis or snowboards. If you buy skis or snowboards and the bindings with ODR, they will mount them for you. Get your gear and keep it in optimal condition for chasing the best powder this winter! Please note that we do not mount or service personal ski or snowboard bindings.

Rental Equipment

Rent winter equipment starting Thursday, Dec. 13. We have a full range of ski and snowboard equipment to fit everyone. We also offer Nordic ski equipment and snowshoes for fitness training and backcountry adventures! This date is tentative and we’re ready to open the doors earlier if there’s enough snow on the slopes. Note: powder boards and skis will not be available until January (date to be determined).

If you sign up for one of Outdoor Recreation’s ski and snowboard trips we’ll provide FREE rental equipment (limited to one ski or snowboard set per person).
