Celebrate the freedom to read! We’re shining a light on cast aside books all week long. Banned books are literary material that have been removed from curriculum. Challenged boos have been attempted to be removed or restricted. Every year, we take a week to celebrate the power of print. Books nurture the growth of knowledge and make expression possible. Because of books, our history has been preserved and our present changed because of its lessons. Our culture has been shaped by ideas that were recorded by ink to paper and our future needs ALL books.
